Applicants will be auditioned in the cities listed below. The following points should be noted:
| 8.1 |
Applicants will nominate the audition city of their choice in the application form and be available for audition on the dates listed. |
| 8.2 |
No expenses of any kind will be paid to applicants by the Competition regarding auditions. |
| 8.3 |
The audition program of 30 minutes should consist of four (4) contrasting works chosen from the applicant’s Stage I and II programs and should be listed on the application form. |
| 8.4 |
Private tapes of performance will not be accepted for audition purposes. The Competition will not be responsible for their return. |
| 8.5 |
Applicants unable to audition for a valid reason will be considered by the Selection Committee on material and information available as outlined in 8.6. |
| 8.6 |
Applicants residing in South America, Africa and Asian countries other than Japan and the People’s Republic of China at the time of the auditions may submit an unedited video together with the required documentation in place of the audition. The video should contain four (4) contrasting works of 30 minutes duration from Stage I & II programs. |
